Admin Yellow 12, Ibiza Blue 14: Swings
Author: Kat
Title: Swings
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Admin yellow 12 (When I do it in the park, people look at me funny.), ibiza blue 14 (Idenline - Together (VIP Remix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIgd-9AvEps)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, fabric (this image), stain (My marriage had its ups and downs like anyone's, but when it came down to it, I knew it was solid. I miss that sort of security, and that sort of connection with someone. - John Scalzi), yarn (this image), glitter ("The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance." – Aristotle)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Ivy and Gina and swings.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Isana asked for "something with Ivy and Gina." Here you are, my dear! Alternate summary: "Kat likes swingsets."
Because Ivy is a child at heart, and Gina likes to indulge her, they are both quite familiar with their local swingset.
They try not to chase the actual children off, so they go in the evenings, when the sun is sparking sharp behind Ivy's shoulder. It sets and an arc of stars flickers to life, a gateway Ivy flies toward, then falls away from, her hair tangling.
And it's kind of like marriage, Gina thinks, pushing her forward. Ups and downs and suns and stars and always, always each other.
They walk home in the dark, hand in hand.

This theme comes up so often, I wonder if you've ever done something with them actually being children.

Especially that second to last sentence. I think that has extra magic in it~.
