Notes: I actually wrote this Sunday night, but I fell asleep before posting it and I'm just now remembering, so yeah. I used the acrylic prompt: "I am not a computer nerd. I prefer to be called a hacker!" -Lex; Jurassic Park, but since the day has passed, I don't think I should rightly claim acrylic for it.
“Hey geek!”
Jessica ran as fast as her heels would allow her. The Biermann boy was heading to the computer lab, like he always seemed to do. It was therefore to her benefit that that's where she needed him.
“Biermann, I'm talking to you!” Jessica called.
He turned quickly and she ran into him. She stumbled slightly, but he caught her.
“Thank you,” Jessica said reluctantly.
He smiled. “I'm surprised the words 'thank you' are even in your vocabulary.”
Jessica opened her mouth to speak, but he held up his hand.
“What do you want, Johnson? Girls like you don't talk to guys like my unless they want something.”
Jessica huffed. She did want something, of course. But did he have to assume that? Perhaps she wanted to chat for a bit.
“So you're a computer geek right?”
He scoffed slightly and crossed his arms. “Yes I suppose you could call me that.”
“So you know how to hack into people's emails right?”
Ryan raised a dark eyebrow at her. She just stared at him.
“I might know something about that,” he admitted.
Jessica smiled and clapped her hands. “Great! I want you to hack into my boyfriend's email account.”
“Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why do you want to hack into his account?” Ryan asked.
Jessica smiled. “I want to know what he's doing.”
“Wouldn't it be better to just ask him?”
It was Jessica's turn to raise an eyebrow. She eyed him suspiciously.
“Look I wasn't asking you to do it for free,” Jessica said. “I'm willing to pay.”
Ryan scratched his head. “Nah, it's no problem. Just meet me at Sid's around 4.”
“Can't you do it here?”
Ryan guffawed. “Not unless you want to get caught. Don't be a total noob, Johnson.”
“I-” She started but he had already walked off. He joined the rest of the geeks at the back. Jessica sighed. Could she really trust Biermann? What if he happened to find those pictures she had sent Mike? She had told Mike to delete them, but she had a feeling that those pictures were still on a drive somewhere. But she couldn't worry about that now. She had to plan for Valentine's Day.
