Robin slammed the door to his room and sank against it. He breathed deeply, but Jain's smell clung to his jeans and he saw some of Jian's honey blonde hair stuck to his knee. "I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all my childish fears."
There was a knock on the other side of the door. Jian had not actually left. Angrily, while still on the floor, Robin turned and glared up at the door. "And if you have to leave, I wish that you would just leave! 'Cause your presence still lingers here and it won't leave me alone."
"These wounds won't seem to heal." Jian pleaded. His fist hit the door again. "This pain is just too real."
"There's just too much that time cannot erase!" Robin retorted.
"When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears. When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears." Jian's voice pleaded. "And I held your hand through all of these years."
Robin stood up and threw the door open. "But you still have all of me. You used to captivate me by your resonating light! Now I'm bound by the life you left behind! Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams! Your voice it chased away all the sanity in me."
"These wounds won't seem to heal." Jian's emotions were written plainly on his face. "This pain is just too real."
"There's just too much that time cannot erase!" Robin shouted back. "I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone. But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along."
With that, he slammed the door again. This time, Jian truly walked away.

I may run and hide
When you're screamin' my name, alright
But let me tell you now
There are prices to fame, alright
All of our time spent in flashes of light
Is DEEP AS HELL.
I'm not even going to pretend I don't still know some of their dance moves.
