Supplies and Styles:
Word Count: 261

Rating: G

Notes: First of all I'm looking back through the AG tag and I'm sorry that I didn't reply to all the comments. I didn't see them in my inbox. I felt like writing this series and this is the result.
“Aw sweetie I miss you too!”
Chloe scrunched her nose as Jennifer gabbed into her cell. She was talking to her city girlfriend. Despite how many times Chloe told herself not to get upset, she always did.
“Say hi to Sam, Chloe!”
“Hi,” Chloe grumbled.
“What was that?” Jennifer said sticking out her tongue. “I don’t think she could hear you!”
“Hi Sam!” Chloe said in a falsely cheery tone.
Jennifer smiled and turned back to the phone.
Chloe sighed. She should stop thinking about Jen. But it was just so damn hard. She wasn’t like any of her friends and there was something about her. Chloe wished she could put her finger on it.
And besides it wasn’t as if Chloe didn’t have a boyfriend, even though she hadn’t spoken to him in two weeks.
“Okay I’ll call you soon.”
Jennifer hung up her cell. She threw it at her bag before throwing herself down next to Chloe.
Jennifer smiled at her.
“Sam wants to meet you.”
“Does she?”
Jennifer laughed. “Yes! She wants to see the person I’m always talking to her about.”
Chloe blushed. “You talk about me?”
“Of course, you’re my friend.”
Chloe smiled.
Jennifer put her arms over her head.
“It’ll be summer soon and I’m going to ask Mom if I can go back to the city. You can come with me.”
“I don’t know,” Chloe said hesitantly. “I mean I have to ask my parents.”
Jennifer nodded. “Nothing’s concrete. But keep it in mind okay?”
Chloe laid her head against Jennifer’s arm. “I will.”
